I have been terrible at documenting our lives lately. The truth would actually be that I have been terrible of having a life lately. Pregnancy tends to hit me hard, and I would also go as far to say that this has been the toughest yet. 13 weeks in and I am on my 5th zofran refill. It helps a ton, but I still throw up anywhere from a few times a week to a bad day when I throw up 3 times a day. It's temporary and as exhausted as I feel its so worth it! We are so excited for this baby and I will take whatever is thrown at me!
While all I want to do is nap and lay on the couch, I am trying to enjoy the warm weather and let my children experience all there is to experience. So, here are a few of the pictures that I have taken of our summer adventure.
These two cuddle all the time. This is a terrible, blurry picture but shows just how sweet these two are. This is snack time post nap and they wanted to sit as close as possible.
Park days are their favorites
Just being cute for the camera
Love when my boy wants to sit close to me, doesn't happen nearly as often as I would like.
Gavin is growing so fast and learning so much every day. His favorite thing is puzzles right now and he has gotten so good.
Surprise ice cream trips before bed!
My view to and from the pool multiple days every week. I don't know what I am going to do now that the pool closed...
Arts and crafts on rainy mornings
The best chalk drawings I have every seen. Reegan and Gavin, drawn by Reegan!
Saturday was Jason's birthday and we celebrated the day with lots of fun. We went to the zoo in the morning and the Royals game at night. Reegan loved slugger and cotton candy. Gavin didn't like either of those, he preferred to climb over my legs and hang from the chairs!
I cannot believe summer is over. Preschool starts tomorrow and a new normal will begin for us. I am looking forward to feeling a little bit better and being able to give my children a little more of myself. This 40 weeks is going to fly by and I am so excited, but I want to cherish these moments as a family of 4 and give them my all! And hopefully I will be a little bit better of taking pictures and sharing our life!
