Baby Kenna

Jason and Gavin got to meet baby Kenna for the first time this Christmas. We loved being able to babysit her for a couple days and spend some time with her.

The kids were very excited and had a difficult time giving her space. She didn't seem to mind, lots of love was given.

Christmas Time!

This Christmas season was a blast. The kids are now getting old enough that all the activities/traditions that I have been waiting to start are now happening. I will remember these memories forever and I hope that they do as well.

Reegan and I had a girl's night and went to the ballet. She sat on my lap and would turn to look at me every so often with a grin on her face and a look of awe. It seriously brought tears to my eyes, so special.

We grabbed some food afterward just us and talked about what we just saw, everything about school and I answered a thousand questions about the baby that will be joining us shortly.
Dec 23, we made cookies.

That night we went to the plaza for a carriage (in the Cinderella carriage) ride and dinner just us 4.

Christmas eve we spent with Jan and after dinner set cookies out for Santa
And opened some presents.

Santa was good to the kids this year. A homemade doll house and slippers for Reegan. A rescue center (fire station), spiderman doll and slippers for Gavin.

Then we opened presents. Our tradition right now is the kids pick out books for one another. I love that they have a present that is from just them!

After spending most of the morning playing with Santa toys and opening gifts from us we headed to the Larson house for Christmas with them.
This boy is obsessed with Spiderman. Loves everything and anything that is spiderman.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours.

Santa

We went with the Keeley Family for our annual Santa visit at Crown Center. Reegan and Gavin love any moment that they get to spend with these friends of theirs.

It was a repeat of last year. Reegan was so excited to see Santa and Gavin was terrified. I thought this year was going to be different, we talked about Santa, rehearsed what he was going to ask Santa for, and overall he seemed pretty excited about it. Until he had to sit on his lap...

Cade and Reese are pros! No problem at all.

We look forward to a fun 2015 with these friends.

Phone pics

I love how great the iphone photos are. We take pictures this way every single day. It has been such a great way to keep track of the everyday. All those little times that I want to remember just as much as the big events. Here are some of the photos from December.

We had our first snow. It didn't produce much and melted the next day, but was good snowman making snow. Jason left work a little early in order to take them outside to play.
Getting excited for New Years and our friends and their kids coming over to celebrate!
My favorite, cuddles
Reegan was in her preschool Christmas program, cutest sheep ever!

We also went to see K-state play basketball at the Sprint Center with their Grandma.
Pizza before and popcorn during. The kids were in heaven!
A boy needs his phone and if you don't have pockets you find another way.
