wish flowers

As I prepare myself for the real world and heading back to work, I am trying to soak in as much as I can of my three little loves. We have done nothing spectacular, in fact the last couple of weekends have been spent working  on the outside the house and preparing for our neighborhood garage sale that takes place next weeks.  Today the kids and I took a little walk before naps and wondered to this field of wish flowers (as Reegan calls them). Otherwise known as a weedy area outside of our neightborhood!!!  I pretended to be a photographer for a few minutes :)

 This one of the two of them makes my heart skip a beat!

Emerson decided she would sleep through this event just like she sleeps through everything else. My sweet kids, love them so much!

One Month

The last month may have been the fastest month in recorded history.  Or at least it seemed that way.  Emerson is growing quickly and she's been just the sweetest, easiest-going baby ever.  She weighed in at 10 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 21.9 inches tall at her one month check up (75th %-ile for both) and overall she's just about perfect. :)

Her brother and sister could not be more obsessed with her up to this point either.  They constantly ask to hold her and are very "involved" during every diaper change.  They really are great with her though.  So sweet and loving.

Emerson is eating well, sleeping well, and generally being an awesome baby.  She even started giving us some smiles just after her one month bday! :)  

Easter!

Easter bunny did pretty good this year if I say so myself! All 3 kids got a book, Emerson also got an outfit and a headband while Reegan got a barbie! She also got a couple snacky foods and an additional outfit for the barbie.  First barbie for this girl and she was excited.

 Gavin got a dinosaur. A T-rex to be exact. He loves dinosaurs and his book was spiderman. The other obsession of his!

 Our local family all came over to celebrate with us.

 Gavin has been doing this for all his pictures lately. Hand under the chin.  He is so cute! I can't get enough of him.
