9 Months

Reegan is 9 months old and is so big and SO fun. We go to the doctor on Friday and I will update her ht/wt after!

-She now has 6 teeth (7th is so close to popping through!)
-LOVES to eat, anything and everything
-Says Dada!!!
-opens drawers and takes everything off the shelves
-walks with her walker all over our house (luckily we already had the baby gate on the top of the stairs installed)
-claps
-waves
-high-fives (sometimes)
-can entertain herself for a long time
-gives us the biggest smiles and giggles when we come home and see her! It melts our hearts!!!


I know my favorite book is here somewhere...

Should I walk with my walker or walk around the ottoman? Maybe I'll do both
I say it every month, but this photo shoot was the HARDEST! Reegan would not stop moving for a second.
I attempted to put a bow in Reegan's hair for the first time. It looks OK in this pic, but her hair is still too fine for the bow. It kept flopping around and turning upside down...I think its going to be a while longer before they become a regular accessory.

We had a busy weekend. Friday night we went out to dinner with some friends and then ended the evening at Oak Park Mall so the kids could play while we talked. We tried hard to get Reegan to play with Jack and Annabelle, but the kids were not interested in getting to know one another. It'll happen in its own time.
Saturday we ran some errands and found this cute rocking horse. I think I liked it more than she did!

Sunday we had a family brunch, here Reegan is with my grandparents (and showing off her clapping)!
Who knew spoons were SO exciting.

More Videos!!

Since our last video of Reegan crawling, it has changed once again! She is now doing the traditional army crawl and is faster than ever. She is really good at changing directions as well.

Reegan's new favorite activity is cruising. She holds onto our coffee table or her walker and is off! In this a short video she is walking away, so you can't see the proud look on her face, but trust me its there.


This video is LONG, like 3 and 1/2 min, so don't feel like you have to watch it all. She is walking once again, but this time something is very funny to her, so every few feet she stops and giggles. So cute...

Halloween

Well, I am a little late posting these, but better late than never!

Reegan had 2 Halloween costumes this year...first off was the beautiful ladybug!!!

Next up was a pretty Ballerina!

We are a little obsessed to say the least. I didn't know it was possible to take SO many pictures! Jason and I had a date night friday night, but failed to take pictures of the two of us...so once again, here are pictures of the little one!



Reegan is totally infatuated with Bella, no matter where Bella is laying, Reegan wants to be there too.

A Timeline of Crawling...

Our baby has been working very, very hard over the past month or two to master crawling. And while she's still not crawling in the traditional manner most of us think of, she is doing this semi-army crawl/roll-to-the-side-and-push/whatever you'd like to call it method that seems to be working REALLY well! We thought we would share videos of her progression...

At just 7 months, there was a TON of effort but unfortunately not much result. She does inch her way forward just a bit. :)



Just before she turned 8 months old, Reegan really started to get a rhythm going. Although it was a ssslllooowwwwwww rhythm...so cute though!!



Now, at a little past 8-1/2 months, she is quiet the little mover! If she sees something on the floor that she wants to have in her tiny hands, you bet she'll get it...and FAST! (It made filming her quite tough too). Don't blink, or you'll miss this one!



To say that we are proud parents would be the understatement of the year! Our little girl is growing SO fast it's unbelievable. Good thing I got that gate at the top of the stairs installed tonight...

We knew it would happen at some point....

8 months

Can that be right??? I can't believe Reegan is already 8 months old, wow time does fly by! I wasn't able to take many pictures tonight, after we got home today there was only time for dinner and bath and then it was off to bed. I did manage to get this one.

Jason and I have been trying for a month or so now to get her to drink out of her sippy cup, but have had no luck at all. However, at school she drinks out of the same sippy cup every day. What??? Here was our latest attempt...she just chews on it.


Reegan's newest "skill" is standing. She has been standing holding onto the couch or coffee table for a while now, but just recently started standing with her walker. I love how she always has this proud look on her face. She hasn't learned that she can walk with it yet, but I am sure that it will come...soon


Thursday night we had some friends over to watch the KSU game and they brought their little boy Colton. It was not a good game, we were killed...but it was great spending time with Sterling and Amy.
