Lately, it seems like every day and every night that we play with Reegan, some new "skill" or activity is taking place. Most of these new developments have been so fun, some not so much fun!
Starting with the not so fun stuff- Reegan has found that she can blow bubbles, but...with the bubbles comes drool! When she gets started it doesn't stop. She has also found her hands. For the past 4 days she has been sticking her left hand into her mouth and chewing on it. She has been a great nighttime sleeper, but the past week has been so inconsistent (maybe a growth spurt?). One night she will wake up 3 or 4 times during the night and then last night she slept for over 9 hours, woke up to eat and then went back to sleep for almost another 3 hours.
Okay, the good things - Reegan has been smiling for weeks, but every now and then we get a little "giggle" out of her! I can't wait until she laughs with us, because we laugh at all of the cute things she does all the time.
Reegan has been so much fun to take out to restaurants or shops, she loves to look around and once she spots a ceiling fan, she is completely captivated. It is so interesting how something so basic causes her to be so interested.
Probably my most favorite is Reegan on her playmat. We work on tummy time and when she is on her back, there are toys that dangle abover her. Just recently she focuses on the toys and just stares at them and smiles. Every once in a while she will lift up a hand and bat at the toys, however at this point, I think that is more of an accident and not purposeful movement. Still fun to see happen though.
Check back tomorrow for an update on Reegan's stats and some pictures! :)
