Easter Parties

Sorry for the lack of blogging the past few weeks.  It certainly hasn't been because we haven't been doing anything, but the opposite is true.  We've been really, really busy, just not with anything overly "blog worthy."  Regardless, we're back at it, and we've have a fun couple of days recently.

In advance of Easter Sunday, Reegan, of course, had a couple of parties to attend.  First was the annual party at her daycare complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny!  Yeah, about that...

...it didn't go over so well.  We couldn't get her any closer than this without her trying to leap from my arms.  I'm not entirely sure which scared her more in the last few months - Santa or the Easter bunny.

The second party was one we hosted at our house!  We invited all of Reegan's little friends over for an egg hunt and brunch.  Unfortunately the weather didn't exactly cooperate fully, so we held the egg hunt indoors.  We hunted in the living room, nursery and Reegan's new "big girl" room.  :)

Reegan did a really good job finding the eggs this year!  She really seemed to get into the whole event.  :)

And she was proud of her haul!

We also made sugar cookies for the kids to decorate.  Reegan was a fan of adding sprinkles and chocolate chips...can you tell??  Only problem - she won't actually eat them!

We had a great time with all of the kids who came over.  They all played so well together!!  It was definitely a great start to the Easter weekend.  :)
